Jaime Sturdivant served in public education since 1993 as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and principal before coming to Brook Hill in 2022. Jaime received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Stephen F. Austin University. She received her Master’s in Educational Leadership from Texas Woman’s University as well as her School Counselor’s Certification. Since 2022, Jaime has served as the Academic Counselor for Day Students at Brook Hill. Jaime and her husband, Steve, moved to Bullard in 2021 after spending 30 years in the DFW area serving as educators. Jaime has two children, Jared and Megan, and one grandson, Austin. Jared attended the United States Air Force Academy and now serves as a C-130 pilot for the U.S. Air Force. Megan is a Speech Language Pathologist and is currently working on her PhD at Baylor University.
In her spare time Jaime enjoys antique shopping, traveling, and spending time with friends/family. Jaime and Steve also have two goldendoodles, Jaxx and Baxter. Jaime’s favorite Bible verse is Philippians 2:3-4. “Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.” Jaime believes that this Bible verse is what drives her to serve students, families, and faculty every day. Jaime considers it a privilege to work at a campus that focuses on a Christ-centered education and embraces Christian beliefs in all areas of the school.
