How soon should I apply for my child to attend the next school year?

Can a student enroll during the current school year?

The current student to teacher ratio for both 中学 and 上学校 is 8 to 1.
Are payment plans available or is the full tuition amount due at one time?
Payment plans are available for day students and non-international boarding students. International 登机 tuition is due in full within 10 days of issuance of the Enrollment Contract. Please contact the business office for information on payment plans.
Are scholarships offered or is financial aid available?
Financial 援助 is available for Day Student families based solely on financial need. Financial 援助 applications are available on the Student 学费 Assistance page.
We do not offer scholarships of any kind (athletic, academic, or performing arts).

What time do the students need to arrive at school and when are they released from school everyday?
The school hours at The Brook Hill School vary by campus. Each Wednesday morning school start is delayed for Chapel; each Friday our students are released early.

Do you have any type of program that will allow my child to stay at the school until I can pick them up after work?

Middle and 上学校 buildings are locked at 4:30 and children should be picked up by that time. Brook Hill offers after school activities such as 体育运动, 美术 practices, and Club meetings.

The Dean of Students for the Middle and 上学校s oversees all Middle and 上学校 discipline. The 较低的学校 Principal oversees all discipline for the 较低的学校. Behavior expectations and consequences are clearly outlined in the Brook Hill Parent/Student Handbook for 中学 and 上学校.
Do you offer any classes where students can earn college credit while attending Brook Hill?
是的! We have over 27 AP and Dual Credit courses available for students. These courses can allow them to earn college credit while they are in high school.

较低的学校 students will generally have homework every night. One to two hours of homework per night is a weekly average for Middle and Upper school classes, 这取决于孩子的年级水平. Students taking AP or concurrent credit courses should expect between 10 and 12 hours a week.

Students may participate in as many activities as their schedule allows.
